When I’m in the thick of a project, my focus is finding this magic. It is methodology and intuition, it is art and science.   • What is the essence of the idea? Why does it catch your interest? How is this relevant to our brand story? As a creative director, I help my team see the path forward and also find opportunities to stretch our creative muscle.

  • "What if" and "wouldn't it be cool" and the classic, "yes and"... these phrases are the soil of ideas. Good ideas are creative concepting. Brainstorming is a really fun part of the process for me. When it comes to the pitch, different ways an idea can be presented is familiar territory.

  • Most of my professional life has been twofold. Delivering best in class marketing content and finding, coaching, and growing creative people in a positive and productive environment.

  • For me, directing is about achieving a vision and enabling each person involved to do their best work.

  • I have an ear for answers that will make the final cut and know which threads to pursue during an interview.

  • I have edited my own projects over there years and also use this skill frequently in the development and concepting phase of a project.

  • It comes with the territory of managing a creative team for 12 years. I am vigilant in the details and creative on how to turn budget into assets.
